North Charleston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Onarae Grant, who scored 15 points along with seven assists.
The win makes it two in a row for North Charleston and bumps their season record up to 8-8. As for Battery Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Charleston is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Hanahan at 8:30 p.m. on January 9th. Hopefully Hanahan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Wednesday. As for Battery Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Beaufort at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Beaufort is ranked 121st, while Battery Creek is ranked 116th).
