Basketball Recap: Lead Hill Piles Up the Points Against Omaha

Lead Hill hadn't done well against Omaha recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lead Hill Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Omaha Eagles 83-45. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Lead Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Royce led the charge by going 9 for 15 on his way to 23 points and three steals. Royce has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Kaden Baker was another key player, going 7 of 9 en route to 15 points and six boards.

Lead Hill was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 22 assists in five consecutive matches.

Lead Hill's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-12. As for Omaha, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Jasper the next time they take the court. Lead Hill will head out to face Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Omaha will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
