After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Fieldston, Collegiate was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Horace Mann Lions with a sharp  12-5 win. The Dutchmen haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.

 Ale' Propper-Bowring
 Ale' Propper-Bowring made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Collegiate is 2-1 when he allows at  most  three  earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Propper-Bowring was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Jack Deblasi was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Ian Feliciano, who  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Collegiate  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .634. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  win  got Collegiate back to even at 3-3. As for Horace Mann,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
