The East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 73-64 to East Stroudsburg North. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (56), East Stroudsburg South still had to take the loss.
East Stroudsburg North's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nate Wilder led the charge by shooting 4-for-5 from deep and almost dropping a double-double on 24 points and nine assists. Wilder continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryceson Dobie, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine assists.
East Stroudsburg South has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for East Stroudsburg North, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.
