If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Fairview. They will challenge Plentywood on the road on Friday. Plentywood will need to watch out since Fairview have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Everything came up roses for Fairview against Culbertson last Friday as the team secured a 56-14 win. Followers of Fairview probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Plentywood have to be aching after a bruising 6-40 defeat to Powder River County. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Plentywood.
Fairview simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Plentywood 68-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairview since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
