Alliance had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Lexington on Saturday. The Bulldogs never let the Minutemen get on the board and left with  a   12-0  win. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matchups by more than six  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Kaiya Hudson was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hannah Benzel, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI.
 Alliance  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .609. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lexington only posted  an  OBP of  .286.
The  victory (which was Alliance's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Lexington,  they are  on  a  12-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alliance will host Scottsbluff  on Tuesday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5  runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lexington, they will square off against Southern Valley/Alma at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lexington's pitchers better be ready for this one: Southern Valley/Alma has averaged an impressive 10.3  runs per game this season.
