Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Donovan). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 72-34 win over the Tri-Point Chargers. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Carter Ponton was a one-man wrecking crew for Donovan as he went 6 for 13 to rack up 14 points along with eight steals and five assists. Those 14 points gave Ponton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Klecan, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Ponton wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Donovan was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Donovan's win bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Tri-Point, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22.

Looking ahead, Donovan will take on South Newton at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tri-Point, they will challenge Cissna Park at 3:30 p.m. on February 15th.
