They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 60-39 walloping at the hands of Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics. Northside Christian School has struggled against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caroline Mcgee, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Mcgee is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiara Weaver, who scored 13 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Northside Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside Christian School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ashley Hall at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, they will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
