Kyler Zarn gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Monday. He was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Covington is 4-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 7-8 otherwise.

Zarn's effort led Covington over North Vermillion and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are a perfect 10-0 against the Falcons going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
