Last Wednesday, Montclair Kimberley Academy earned a 38-30 victory over Tech. The win was just what Montclair Kimberley Academy needed coming off of a 45-24 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, American History unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to Academy Charter. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ihjamir Williams, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jabaree Christopher, who scored 12 points.
Montclair Kimberley Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for American History, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
