The Baker County Wildcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Camden County 73-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Baker County has scored all season.
Dawson Norman was Baker County's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Jaeveon Reed took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Camden County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antwann Brown, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Brown is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elyiss Williams, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Baker County and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Camden County, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Baker County will challenge Fernandina Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Camden County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richmond Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Richmond Hill has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
