Elijah Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Brown Jr, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Cristo Rey Philadelphia came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Solebury 73-70. Given Cristo Rey Philadelphia's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Spartans are ranked 285th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Life Center Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 24-9 record this season. As for Cristo Rey Philadelphia, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
