After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Sanger brought some dynamite into their most recent  game. They blew past the Sanger West Hornets 10-3 on Tuesday. The Apaches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Emma Hernandez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  tossed 5.1 innings while giving up  three earned runs off   eight  hits. Hernandez was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Arianah Cardoso was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season.  Aundrea Orosco was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.
Sanger's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 9-4. As for Sanger West, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record  this season.
 Sanger will host Justin Garza  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Apaches' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Guardians have averaged an impressive 9.5  runs per game this season. As for Sanger West, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Bullard  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
