  Cecelia Ott and  Annabelle Richardson did some serious damage despite the final result:  Ott  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and a  triple, while  Richardson  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run. Another player making a difference was  Chloe Burger, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Jefferson  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in September of 2023.
 Meanwhile, Kelly didn't have quite enough to beat Notre Dame on Thursday and fell  6-5.
 Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Kelly, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.
 Jefferson suffered a grim  15-4 defeat to Kelly  when the teams last played  back in September. Can Jefferson avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
