Baseball Recap: Trinity Catholic Triumphs

On Tuesday, the Trinity Catholic Celtics narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lecanto Panthers 8-6.

The team relied heavily on Tommy Silva, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Nate Colon, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Trinity Catholic will take on Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Trinity Catholic has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
