The Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks will head out on the road to square off against the DME Academy Blue DME Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jordan Christian Prep has 11 straight victories, the DME Academy have 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Jordan Christian Prep beat the Spartans 61-51.
Jordan Christian Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amelia Williams out in front who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Jordan Christian Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Delyana Morris, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 21 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-45, which was the final score in DME Academy Blue's tilt against the Patriots on Monday. DME Academy Blue has struggled against the Patriots recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Jordan Christian Prep pushed their record up to 16-6 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for DME Academy Blue, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
