Basketball Game Preview: Parkersburg Christian vs. Hannan Wildcats

Parkersburg Christian are taking a road trip to square off against the Hannan Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkersburg Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matches.

Parkersburg Christian managed to keep up with Mount Hope Christian Academy until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Parkersburg Christian lost 85-63 to Mount Hope Christian Academy. Parkersburg Christian has struggled against Mount Hope Christian Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Parkersburg Christian might have lost, but man, Wyatt Meadows was a machine: he went 10 of 22 on his way to 24 points and seven boards. With that strong performance, Meadows is now averaging an impressive 15.9 points per game. Another player making a difference was Alexander Fluharty, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Hannan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 60-56 to Bloomingdale.

Parkersburg Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Hannan, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Parkersburg Christian took their victory against Hannan in their previous matchup back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 52-31. Will Parkersburg Christian repeat their success, or does Hannan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
