Oakdale had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They never let the Los Banos Tigers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Ayden Ardis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Eric Velazquez was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Griffin Costa, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Oakdale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Oakdale's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Los Banos, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Oakdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against Central Valley on the 23rd. As for Los Banos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-9 defeat against Buhach Colony on the 24th.
