The Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 80-39 loss at the hands of Bridges Prep. Lowcountry Leadership was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bridges Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
Bridges Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Q Young out in front who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists. The contest was Young 's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of C Arroyo, who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Lowcountry Leadership's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bridges Prep, they have yet to lose a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 4-1 record.
Lowcountry Leadership will take on Charleston Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bridges Prep, they will be playing at home against Memorial Day at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Memorial Day will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 353rd in Georgia, while Bridges Prep is ranked 72nd in South Carolina).
