The Cannon County Lions had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They really took it to Forrest for the full four quarters, racking up a  75-39 victory on the road. With Cannon County ahead  44-17 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
 Several Rockets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jimmy Bond, who  scored 11 points along with two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brayson Mccown, who  scored 13 points along with two  steals.
 Cannon County has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Forrest, they are  on a five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-19.
 Cannon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forrest, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Cascade at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Forrest is coming into the  matchup with 15 straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Cascade will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
