After flying high against Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats  last Friday, Purdue Polytechnic came back down to earth. The Purdue Polytechnic Techies fell  48-38 to the Riverside Argonauts on Wednesday. The Techies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Argonauts apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in December of 2022.
 Defeat or not, Purdue Polytechnic got some senior leadership from  Damion Green and  James Long Jr..  Green  posted 11  points in addition to five  boards and five  steals, while  Long Jr.  went 8 of 11  on his way to 17 points.  Preston Seay was another key player,  putting up two points and four  steals.
 Riverside's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Bini Hopper, who  went 5 for 8  en route to 10  points and three  steals. Another player making a difference was  Ty Hopper, who  earned nine points.
Purdue Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Riverside, the  victory was  the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
 Purdue Polytechnic has already played their next matchup,  a  75-50  win against Indianapolis Washington on the 14th. Riverside has also already played their next  contest (against Bethesda Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
