Having just played yesterday, the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats will jump right back in to play the Neoga Indians  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

  Macee Rodman was  her usual excellent self,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 40  points and nine  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's points.  Avrie Vaughn was another key player,  putting up seven points in addition to seven  rebounds and six  assists.
 Meanwhile, Neoga was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were five  points away from ending the streak, but they lost a  63-58 heartbreaker at the hands of Altamont.
 Neoga's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, their  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 9-12.
 Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City beat Neoga 59-49  in their previous meeting  back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
