East Wake barely beat Fike the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Demons 17-4 on Tuesday. Considering the Warriors have won nine games by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Madison Keith made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Keith was even better at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with four  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Alissa Flood, who  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and two  triples. That's the most  triples  she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Jaimee Fowler, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 East Wake  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
East Wake's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Fike,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-16.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Wake will welcome Franklinton  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Warriors are on  a  three-game streak of home wins, the Red Rams  a  three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Fike, they will host Hunt  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
