Meanwhile, Central Dauphin East's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Cumberland Valley by a score of 35-32.
Bishop McDevitt's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Central Dauphin East, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Bishop McDevitt against Central Dauphin East when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 70-27 win.
