In what's become a running theme this season, the Trinity Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Providence Grove 79-51 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Trinity, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Dominic Payne continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 36 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Payne is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Brandon Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Trinity has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Providence Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-15.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Randleman the next time they take the court. Providence Grove will host Randleman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Trinity will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
