This season hasn't been kind to the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators, who are still winless after their 16th contest. They had to suffer through a rough 89-33 loss at the hands of Charleston Math & Science. Lowcountry Leadership has not had much luck with Charleston Math & Science recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Charleston Math & Science's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion King, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Michael Williams, who scored 13 points along with five steals and two blocks.
Lowcountry Leadership bumped their record down to 0-16 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Charleston Math & Science, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Leadership will square off against Palmetto Scholars Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Charleston Math & Science, they will head out on the road to face off against Burke at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Burke is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
