Baseball Recap: Union Finds Home Field Redemption Against Choctaw Central

There's no place like home for Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Choctaw Central Warriors by a score of 6-2 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Warriors last Tuesday, they had to take a 6-3 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Kooper Fultz, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Turner Johnson, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Union's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Choctaw Central, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
