The Franklin Sabers won the last time they faced the Kenosha Tremper Trojans, and things went their way on Thursday too. Franklin walked away with a 56-46 win over Kenosha Tremper. With that win, Franklin brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Lauren Capstran continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Franklin's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniya Boyland, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Franklin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Kenosha Tremper, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Franklin will head out on the road to face off against Oak Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Creek will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Kenosha Tremper will be home for the holidays to greet Racine Case at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
