Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Rogers City). Everything went their way against the Valley Lutheran Chargers on Saturday as they made off with  a  23-2 win. Considering the Hurons have won five matchups by more than nine  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
Rogers City has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Valley Lutheran, their defeat was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Coincidentally, Rogers City and Valley Lutheran will both be playing Tawas Area the next time they take the field. The Hurons will head out to face the Braves at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday, while the Chargers will play them later in the day, at 8:30  p.m.
