Mathew Silva gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Thursday. He was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Watsonville is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 7-8 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Silva and Watsonville will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Monica at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
