Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for West Fork

West Fork waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Hargrave Falcons by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Gators: when they faced off against the Falcons on Thursday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

West Fork not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hargrave between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allison Lewis, who had 11 assists and three aces. That's the most aces Lewis has posted since back in October of 2024.

West Fork's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Hargrave, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Coming up, West Fork will face off against Bridge City at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hargrave, they will be taking part in a tournament against Caney Creek at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
