Even though the Stevenson Bulldogs scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the Washougal Panthers still came out on top. Washougal took their match against Stevenson 65-56. The win made it back-to-back wins for Washougal.
Washougal can attribute much of their success to Alex Frost, who scored 20 points. Mather Minnis was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Washougal pushed their record up to 2-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Stevenson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washougal will face off against Hudson's Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Stevenson, they will head out on the road to face off against Goldendale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
