Dylan Annicelli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aidan Martins, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Palombo, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, La Salle Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Moses Brown 10-0. Considering the Rams have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jairo Martinez tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Thomas Malloy was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Angelo Fuscellaro was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
La Salle Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
