When it comes to explaining why GVCS Broadfording lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jordan Shifler. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. Shifler scored a full 52.9% of GVCS Broadfording's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Allegany's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for GVCS Broadfording, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
