Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Jefferson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Guilford hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .416. It's a different story for Jefferson, though, as they've only averaged .242. Will they be able to contain Guilford's hitters?

Everything went Guilford's way against Jefferson in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Guilford made off with a 14-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
