Reedy and Lone Star are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Lions will challenge the Rangers at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lone Star will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Reedy extended their winning streak to ten on Friday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over The Colony.
Addison Daudelin looked comfortable as she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sierra Petersdorf, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Crosby, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one double.
Reedy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 7-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Lone Star waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 9-1 win.
BellaLucia Cantu was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Cantu was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Makala Wallace was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Camryn Allen was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Reedy's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Lone Star, their record now sits at 14-7-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Reedy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lone Star struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Reedy beat Lone Star 14-9 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
