They breezed by Pinellas Park at home to the tune of 79-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Clearwater Central Catholic has posted since January 5th.
Clearwater Central Catholic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gio Sciandra out in front who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Maxwell Messa was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Clearwater Central Catholic's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-8. As for Pinellas Park, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that loss, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Clearwater Central Catholic will be playing at home against Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pinellas Park will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Dunedin at 7:45 p.m. on February 2nd. Dunedin is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
