The Pacifica Mariners fell victim to the Tustin Tillers''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Tillers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pacifica in their matchups with Tustin: they've now lost four in a row.
Leading Tustin to victory were Eimesse Essis and MacKenzie Alleyne. Essis rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while Alleyne gained 150 total yards and two touchdowns. Alleyne's longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
Pacifica is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 2-7 record this season. As for Tustin, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-0.
Pacifica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tustin is also done with their season.
