Not much got past  Skylar Young, who gave up just  a  hit to keep Florida State University High School off the board. Young has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.

  Sara Rose Aikens and  Lamonika Sims did some serious damage despite the final result:  Aikens  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, while  Sims  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Ashonti Alexander was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 North Florida Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Leon, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
Thursday's   contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North Florida Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .317. However, it's not like Leon struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .385. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
