Marshall County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Culleoka Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Marshall County at home against Spring Hill as the team secured a 70-37 win.
Among those leading the charge was Jabrae Howard, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Marshall County's points. Another player making a difference was Markel Harris, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Culleoka didn't have too much trouble with Huntland on the road on Monday as they won 62-46.
Marshall County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Culleoka, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Marshall County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Culleoka when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marshall County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
