Craig County extended their losing streak  (dating back to last season) to ten  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-7 in the process. They lost  11-1 to the Giles Spartans.  In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jacob Mills, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Giles is undefeated when  Mills posts two or  more  runs, but 0-7-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Josiah Schlueter, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Coming up, Craig County will take on Eastern Montgomery at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 10.7  runs per game this season. As for Giles, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Auburn  at 5:00  p.m. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
