Freedom is 0-9 against Gaither since February of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. Freedom is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Freedom barely beat Brandon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Eagles on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Connor Cress, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two RBI. Freedom is undefeated when Cress posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Devon Acord, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Freedom hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 4-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Gaither waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Gryphons by a score of 6-3. That's two games straight that the Cowboys have won by exactly three runs.
Jackson Mirza made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, David Pina was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Eddy Rojo was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Gaither's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Freedom, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Freedom has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Gaither struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
