Football Recap: Miles Reding Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Rossview + How To Watch

Kirkwood won the last time they faced Rossview and things went their way on Friday too. The Cobras blew past the Hawks 39-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cobras.

Kirkwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Miles Reding led the charge by rushing for 51 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries, while also throwing for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes. Jayven Norris was in the mix too, providing the Cobras with two scores.

Another reason for the win was Kirkwood's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Rossview's QB won't forget Kamari Blair anytime soon given he sacked him four times.

Kirkwood's record now sits at 2-0. As for Rossview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kirkwood and Rossview will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cobras are set to take on their familiar foe Kenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rossview will square off against rival Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
