The Sterling Silver Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gloucester City. Sterling was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Gloucester City apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Gloucester City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Keegan Cohan out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ryan James, who scored ten points along with seven assists.
Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Gloucester City, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.
Sterling will be playing at home against Clearview at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Clearview will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Gloucester City, they will square off against Deptford at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Deptford is ranked 211th, while Gloucester City is ranked 234th).
