Albany  took care of business in their home opener  (and then some) on Friday. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  74-32 victory over the DeKalb Tigers.

 Albany didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Jay Anthony and  Carter Dannar. Anthony has been hot, having also posted five or more  total tackles the last eight times he's  played. Albany received some extra help from  Shae Miller, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
 Looking ahead, Albany is headed away from home for the first time to  take on  Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt]  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for DeKalb, they will welcome King City  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
