The East Central Hornets lost against the New Braunfels Unicorns back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. East Central's tough 4-1 loss to New Braunfels might stick with them for a while.

East Central will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Steele at 7:15 p.m. East Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 474th, while Steele is ranked 90th). As for New Braunfels, they will head out on the road to take on Clemens at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. New Braunfels is coming into the matchup with five straight victories on the road, so Clemens is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
