Defeat or not, Covenant Day got some senior leadership from Chris Rivens and Tyree White. Rivens went 8 for 11 on his way to 20 points and three steals, while White dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 assists. Those 12 assists gave White a new career-high. Micah Huffman was another key player, putting up eight points and eight boards.
Even though they lost, Covenant Day was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cannon only posted eight assists.
