Douglas County West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy). Everything went their way against Lincoln Lutheran on Monday as they made off with an 18-6 victory. Jon Primmer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Primmer was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy is undefeated when Primmer posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rocco Vigneri, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Andrew Moulton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
