The Rosholt Hornets will head out on the road to  square off against  the Pittsville Panthers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 While Rosholt has not struggled against Wild Rose recently, they managed to flip the script  on Thursday. Rosholt put the hurt on Wild Rose with a sharp  11-5 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Rosholt.
  Addi Gagas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  tossed seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. Gagas has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than seven  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Gagas was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kaylee Filtz, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Ostrowski, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Pittsville came into Tuesday's   game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Spencer by a score of  9-6  on Tuesday. The  win was just what Pittsville needed coming off of  a  22-11 loss in their prior  contest.
 Rosholt now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pittsville,  the  victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
 Rosholt skirted past Pittsville  21-19 in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023. Will Rosholt repeat their success,  or does  Pittsville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
