Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Steinbrenner Warriors, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 54-35 to the Ravens. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Steinbrenner of the 54-32 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Despite the loss, Steinbrenner still got an impressive performance from Justice Momrik, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. That was a full 37.1% of Steinbrenner's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ryan Lind was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Steinbrenner's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Alonso, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
Steinbrenner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Alonso will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Plant at 5:30 p.m. on February 8th. Alonso will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 297th, while Plant is ranked 135th).
